Analysis
1.       Was there a variety of assessment methods used by the teacher? How relevant was/were the assessment method/s used?

Yes there was a validity of assessment methods for the teachers applied different methods in assessing their students. The assessment methods used were relevant with  the learning objectives and they are applied properly.

2.       Do you think the expected students’ learning behaviours indicated in the objectives were properly and appropriately assessed through those assessment methods?

Yes, because the teacher applied the different assessment methods fairly with its validity and alignment with the learning targets.

My Reflections

Assessment is a need in education.Through this, teachers would be able to assess their selves if they really attained their learning targets. It is also a big help to them, because they would be able to know their students strengths and weaknesses.

Yes, because the test items used to assess the students is correlated to the teacher’s learning objectives and test items was equally divided with different domains of learning.

2.       Why do you have to study the teacher’s learning objectives prior to developing an assessment tool?

Because the assessment tool to be develop will always depend on the set learning objective and should always be associated with them. This will enable us to choose the appropriate assessment toolsto be use and it helpus to have better understanding on how they will be applied.

Reflection
Write your personal reflection of thoughts and feelings regarding Peace Concept on Focus. Share your reflection with your FS teacher and classmates.

EQUALITY in education can lead a peaceful and better learning process. As the students to their best while they are being assess, teachers must have fair and appropriate way of assessing them. They should always consider the learning the targets and the assessment tools to be used.
And as a future educator it is not a challenge for me but an OPPORTUNITY. That I should not only teach and make sure that my students understand the topic but it is an opportunity to show my love and respect to them, through exercising EQUALITY in all circumstances.

MY INTERVIEW NOTES

his subject matter requires different skills to be learned. So as a teacher I choose to apply the authentic assessment. Because through this my students will have an experience in real world environment. They learn as they put it into action the given task to them.

1.       What is Authentic Assessment?

This is the assessment that concentrates in the existence of fact and deals with sensibility. This means that this assessment focuses on the application of task in real world setting. Authentic assessments, students are given tasks to perform that have applications in real life rather than just selecting an answer, as is the case on a standardized test

2.       How was authentic assessment used? Was it used to measure learning through the product?

The teacher used authentic assessment by letting his students make their own garden. The students cultivate the soil and plant seed. They are the one who experience or put into action the task had given to them. Yes it was used to measure learning through the product.
